June 2024 Update
June 19th, 2024, Environmental Assessment Meeting No. 2:
On June 19th, 2024, the Tewin Project Team and City of Ottawa hosted an in-person open house for the second of three Integrated Planning and Environmental Assessment public meetings. This meeting focused on alternative solutions for transportation and municipal servicing (water, sanitary, and stormwater), and presented preliminary alternative design strategies for parks and open spaces, land use, and mobility. October 26th, 2023, Environmental Assessment Meeting No. 1:
Existing Conditions and Preliminary Opportunities
On October 26th, 2023, the Tewin Project Team and City of Ottawa hosted an online webinar for the first of three Integrated Planning and Environmental Assessment public meetings. This meeting focused on the preliminary results of the Existing Conditions and Opportunities Draft Reports, which were submitted to the City in July 2023. The City of Ottawa has recently provided comments to the Tewin Project Team, and the Reports are now being revised for final submission. Copies of the Reports will be made publicly available once they are finalized. A copy of the presentation from the public meeting, which provides preliminary findings from the Drafts Reports, as well as an overview of the Tewin Project, can be accessed at the link below. Meeting with Local Residents and Businesses
September 25, 2023
On September 25th, the Tewin Project Team met with residents and business owners within the Tewin Study Area to discuss the project. A project overview and status update were provided, followed by a summary of the draft findings of the Existing Conditions Reports, and associated preliminary opportunities. A Q&A session followed, with questions and responses captured in the associated Meeting Notes document, which can be downloaded below.
